A major change in Pension rules means that as from April 2015 it is possible to take cash from personal pensions from age 55 without being forced into buying an annuity.

In other words, you will be able to withdraw as much as you like from your personal pension pot.

Before cashing in your Personal Pension you should take Independent Financial Advice and also consider the tax implications.

It is widely expected that many pension holders will consider taking some of their pension lump sum and investing it into Buy to Let property purchases.

The cash withdrawn could be used to purchase a property outright or spread out across a number of properties as deposits (down-payments) combined with the use of Buy to Let Mortgages.

Some Lenders have now adapted their buy to let lending criteria to cater for more mature applicants. It is currently possible to take out a new Buy to Let mortgage up until the age of 70 at outset.

The market is also becoming more flexible in terms of when Lenders expect the mortgage to be repaid with some now allowing the mortgage term to run well past normal retirement ages in a bid to attract older borrowers.

I am very experienced in this field and will be happy to help.
